Reservation Procedures
- Make your reservations online by clicking on the "BOOK NOW" icon above
- The corporate number HT14004129 is prefilled The corporate number <%=$corporatecodenumber%> is prefilled
- Upon completing your reservation, your pCard is required
Online reservations can be made up to 72 hours prior to arrival. Reservations required within 72 hours of pick up date must be made by calling the central reservation number.
You can also make your reservations by calling Thrifty's reservations center during normal business hours. Please remember to provide the Corporate number <%=$corporatecodenumber%> and your pCard at time of booking.

Daily/ Weekly Rate Conditions:
Daily rates are based on a 24 hour rental period.
Weekly rates are based on a seven day rental period.
Rates are inclusive of applicable taxes, surcharges and mandatory fees. Includes one tank of gas.

Payment acceptance
Thrifty Car Rental will accept the State of Hawaii MasterCard Purchasing Card (pCard) as the primary form of payment at time of closing of rental agreement. All incidental charges not included as part of the inclusive rate shall be paid directly by the traveler.
Thrifty Car Rental will also accept personal credit cards in lieu of no pCard as the form of payment.
Thrifty Car Rental will NOT ACCEPT purchase orders.
Thrifty Car Rental will NOT ACCEPT checks.
Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellation of reservations can be done by calling reservations or going online to Thrifty Car Rental
For changes and cancellation online select tab "Review/Change/Canel" reservation. You will need to have:
- Confirmation Number
- Last Name of renter
- Telephone number used in reservation
Thrifty Car Rental will not charge for any "no-show" reservations but we do ask as a courtesy to call to cancel reservations if your reservation is not required.
Counter bypass/Express Check in and Return
Thrifty will provide express service to state employees. The renter will advise the driver that they are with the state of Hawaii. A special counter will expedite the check in process for employees.
For those employees registered in Thrifty's Blue Chip program, the rental agreement is completed based on information in the renter's profile. The renter must then verify for any damages on vehicle.
Return of vehicle will include verification of condition of vehicle and mileage. At that time, the contract is closed with primary payment being from the pCard (if no pCard, renter must present credit card for payment).
All services that are not included in the daily included rate must be paid directly by the renter to Thrifty (example: Personal Liability Insurance). A receipt of final charges will be presented to renter
Refueling options:
Thrifty provides no refueling option. All rentals will have a full tank of gas at time of rental and can be returned with an empty tank of gas at no charge

Authorized Drivers
- Renter is properly licensed
- Renter is acting within the scope of their employment duties.
- Must be 21 years of age or older with no underage fee. Driver must rent while on authorized state travel.
- Additional authorized drivers will be allowed to rent without additional charges while on authorized state travel
