**Car Rental Price Increases due to NEW CFC surcharge:
The Hawaii State Legislature recently enacted a Rental Motor Vehicle Customer Facility Charge (CFC), imposing a $1 daily surcharge on all car rentals, effective as of September 1, 2008 for rental cars picked up at any airport location. The CFC surcharge will finance the planning, design and construction of a consolidated rental car facility at our state airports.
If you are participating in the State of Hawaii SPO car rental program, please book all car rental reservations using hawaiistatecars.com. This is a special negotiated rate, bookable online, using your pcard.
